Important Places to Visit in Australia

There have been many important events taken place in Australian History. Not only
has this left many historical landmarks but also many stories that are yet to be told.

The latest important place to be seen is Australia Zoo in Queensland home of the
late Steve Irwin our Australian Crocodile Hunter. The zoo is still run by Steves wife
and children and is home to some of Australia's most beautiful wild life.

If you are looking to learn about Australia's Indigenous people then a trip to Ayres
Rock or Ulura in the Northern Territory is worth a visit. Usually on the top of the
list for all those visiting Australia. This is a sacred spot for the original owners of
our great land.

For more history and a great story then stop by the small town of Glenrowan in
country Victoria and pay a visit to the Ned Kelly Museum. Australia's most
famous bush ranger.

In Tasmania is a beautiful spot known as Port Arthur, this is a beautiful historic
town the town was created by our first convict settlements. It is also home to
one of the darkest days in Australian history the Port Arthur Massacre. A beautiful
place with some dark and haunting history. You will learn alot about Australian
history from visiting Port Arthur.

On the border of New South Wales and Victoria is home to one of the most
famous stories in Australian History 'The Man from Snowy River'. These hilly ranges
have some of the most breath taking scenery Australia has to offer, as well as many
a story from a local Aussie.
